EDGECAM Outstanding Achievement Award for Camtech GmbH

Camtech GmbH, from Germany, won the EDGECAM Outstanding Achievement Award at Vero Software's largest ever Global Reseller Conference.

Located in Lisbon, Portugal, 171 delegates representing Vero brands from around the world attended the conference to see the latest product developments, discuss future product direction and gain an insight into the future business plans of the newly combined Vero Group, formed following last year's merger of the Vero and Planit software groups.

Highlights from the EDGECAM brand workshop included a review of the current release (2012 R2), Waveform Roughing, Advanced 5-axis and quill support (secondary z-axis), plus a sneak preview of future developments including the addition of wire EDM technology and an exciting new workflow manager.

The Outstanding Achievement Award went to Camtech GmbH because of its 24% revenue growth; the fact that it is Europe's largest single EDGECAM reseller, and gained an 18% growth in SMP sales.
